Greenfield- Mrs. Annie Pentecost, 90, widow of Curt Pentecost of
Greenfield, died Friday morning, January 07, 1983, at Volunteer General
Hospital in Martin, following a short illness.
Services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 09, 1983, at
Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Perkins officiating. Burial was in
Brock's Cemetery, Greenfield with Williams Funeral Home in charge.
Mike Pentecost, Bobby Pentecost, Waymon Pentecost, Johnny Bethel,
and Jerry Buckley served as active pallbearers. Mrs. Pentecost a native
of Greenfield was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church, Greenfield.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Maggie Rodgers of Martin; two
sons, Leon Pentecost and Claude Pentecost, both of Greenfield; and
seventeen grandchildren.
