Jack Oliver Pentecost, 83, of Dresden, Tenn. died Saturday night at the
Weakley County Nursing Home. He was a member of the First Baptist
Church, a Master Mason, and a retired Employee of the Weakley County
Electrical Department after 23 years service.
Services were held at 2 p.m. August 04, at First Baptist Church, by
Brother Raymond Boston, Brother Denver Anderson and Brother Mike Davis.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. in Sharon, by Bowlin Funeral Home.
He leaves his wife Mrs. Myrtle Swearingen Pentecost of Dresden; a
son, James Pentecost of Trenton; three daughters, Mrs. Maynard Bailey of
Dyer, Mrs. Grover Jewell of Milan and Mrs. William Argo of Warren,
Michigan, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
